Konstantin Tringov

Konstantin Tringov was born on May 7, 1907 in Kazanlak. He died on May 7, 1981 in Sofia. Until 1937 he studied Painting at the Art Academy in the class of Prof. Tseno Todorov and Prof. Nikola Ganushev. At that time, he started participating in OHI. In 1934, he held his first solo exhibition in Kazanlak. From 1941 to 1977, he held 10 exhibitions in Sofia. His paintings were exhibited in Moscow, Berlin, Warsaw, Budapest, Prague, Athens, etc. Stara Zagora, Plovdiv, Kardjali, Ruse, Gabrovo, Dobrich, etc. Member of the SBH since 1945. He paints landscapes, domestic compositions and still lifes. His painting is characterized by a synthesis of form and expressive tonal harmony. He was awarded the order "Cyril and Methodius" I. His works can be found in NHH, SGHH and in galleries in Kazanlak, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv, Ruse, Gabrovo, Burgas, Vidin, Kardjali, Smolyan, etc.
